GYTPOL, a first-of-its-kind platform that automates and error-proofs configuration security for connected devices, is looking for a rockstar Senior Frontend Engineer who asks lots of questions, demonstrates keen attention-to-detail, and take a big-picture perspective. If you don't understand why a given component appears in particular space or what it's meant to communicate, neither will the user!
The individual selected will be tasked with ensuring that the GYTPOL system is designed & developed to support positive user experience and package product capabilities in a manner that is visually appealing and intuitively answers market needs.
Responsibilities:
- Keep up-to-date on changing UX/UI best practices.
- Work with product and design partners to plan new product screens and functional modules.
- End-to-end development of frontend software components (design, development, testing, maintenance).
- Contribute to technological and architectural decisions.
- Conduct design and code reviews.
- Analyze and improve efficiency, scalability, and stability of various system components
- Define API schemas that will be implemented by the backend team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field (or equivalent military work experience).
- 4+ years proficiency in frontend engineering using React.js, JavaScript, and related libraries and frameworks.
- Experience with Tailwind, Web Sockets.
- Experience working with Git & Jira.
- Analyze and improve efficiency, scalability, and stability of various system components
- Experience with API design
- Ability to work independently and mostly remotely
- A motivated team player with great async written English communication skills
Hiring Preferences:
- Experience with testing frameworks like Cypress / Selenium.
- Experience making UX decisions.
