GYTPOL, a first-of-its-kind platform that automates and error-proofs configuration security for connected devices, is looking for a rockstar Backend Engineer to join the team and help take the product to the next level.
Responsibilities:
- Develop end-to-end backend features
- Construct SQL queries using ORM, conducting manual optimizations as needed
- Monitor production logs
- Troubleshoot issues in production
- Plan and execute architectural changes
- Fix bugs in backend code
- Conduct code reviews for other team members
- Cooperate with frontend team to ensure backend & UI cohesion
- Write CI tests for your code
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience developing scalable backend code in high level languages
- SQL fluency
- Experience decrypting and optimizing ORM-generated SQL queries
- Experience writing migrations in raw SQL
- Experience working with cloud environments
- Experience owning feature development from end-to-end, taking it from idea to production
- Experience building testable code, writing CI scripts
- Experience working with containers and Kubernetes
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for learning cutting-edge technologies
- Ability to self-educate, working independently and mostly remotely
- High motivation and a team-oriented mentality
- Great async written English communication skills
